|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Mehanizmi kontrole zakrčenja važan su dio prijenosa podataka preko mreže. U ovom radu napravljen je modificirani mehanizam kontrole zakrčenja temeljen na mehanizmu TCP CUBIC. Modifikacija dodaje komponentu temeljenu na kašnjenju. Rad se može podijeliti na tri cjeline. U prvoj cjelini proučena je postojeća tehnologija te su opisani alati potrebni za izradu rada. U drugoj cjelini implementiran je modificirani mehanizam kontrole zakrčenja te su opisani njegovi ključni dijelovi koda potrebni za rad mehanizma u simulatoru ns2. U posljednjoj cjelini testiran je modificirani mehanizma kontrole zakrčenja u simulatoru ns2 te je uspoređen njegov rad s ostalim reprezentativnim mehanizmima kontrole zakrčenja.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: Congestion control mechanisms are an important part of data exchange in computer networks. In this paper a modified congestion control mechanism is created based on TCP CUBIC Congestion Control mechanism. This modification adds a delay-based component. This work was performed in three steps. In the first step, current technology in this field has been studied and all the parts required for this work are described. In the second step, the congestion control mechanism has been modified and his key code components have been described. In the third step, the modified congestion control mechanism has been tested in ns2 simulator and his characteristics have been compared to other representative congestion control mechanisms.
