|a U ovom radu obrađen je problem konvergencije pojedinih komunikacijskih mreža prema jedinstvenoj informacijsko-komunikacijskoj infrastrukturi te pitanja njihovog međusobnog povezivanja uz adekvatne protokolne pretvorbe.
Opisana je trenutna situacija na području telekomunikacijskih mreža, te dan prikaz jedinstvene informacijsko komunikacijske mreže te njene arhitekture sa detaljnijim opisom ključnih sastavnih dijelova.
Analizirani su procesi specifikacije i formalizacije u telekomunikacijskim sustavima te su detaljno opisani jezik za prikaz slijeda podataka (MSC) te SDL, kao praktični primjeri formalnih jezika za specifikaciju podataka.
Predstavljen je BICC protokol kao jedan od bitnih protokola u novim jedinstvenim informacijsko-komunikacijskim mrežnim arhitekturama, te njegova formalna specifikacija u toj arhitekturi kroz dijagrame jezika za prikaz slijeda podataka (MSC) te procese SDL-a (Sequence Diagram Language).

|a Convergence problem of communication networks towards unified information-communication infrastructure and the question of it`s conectivity with each other through apropriate protocol conversion was described in this paper.
Current situation in the field of telecommunication networks and the presentation of unified information communication network with detailed description of key parts was also represented.
Processes of specification and formalisation in telecommunication system were analysed. MSC and SDL were described in detail like practical examples of formal languages for data specifications.
BICC protocol was presented like one of important protocols in new unified information and communication network architectures. It`s formal specification in this architecture through message sequence chart and SDL processes was also presented.
