|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Testiranje u programskom jeziku Ruby
Ovaj rad obrađuje cjelokupnu strukturu programskog jezika Ruby, radni okvir za izradu web aplikacija Rails koji se temelji na Rubyu te različite metode testiranja web aplikacija. Započinje se sa kratkim uvodom u web aplikacije gdje je objašnjen njihov značaj u današnjem društvu. Potom se obrađuje programski jezik Ruby, povijest, sintaksa, usporedbe s drugim programskim jezicima. Slijedi razvojna okolina Rails gdje se govori o njenim komponentama te značaju u razvoju web aplikacija. U sljedećim poglavljima se govori o testiranju, prvo se općenito opisuju različite metode testiranja te pojmovi poput TDD-a i BDD-a, a potom i samom testiranju u Railsu odnosno Rubyu. Koriste se programski okviri testiranja poput Test::Unit, MiniTest, RSpec, Capybara, FactoryGirl. Na kraju se prezentira i praktični primjer aplikacije koja sadrži testove. U zaključku se iznosi značaj testiranja i kako je ono neophodno u razvoju aplikacija.

This paper discusses the overall structure of the programming language Ruby, a framework for building web applications Rails, which is based on Ruby, and the various methods of testing web applications. It begins with a brief introduction to Web applications where is explained their significance in today's society. Then, it deals with the programming language Ruby, history, syntax, comparisons with other programming languages. Following is Rails development environment where is discussed about its components and the importance in developing of web application. In the next sections it is talked about testing, first general description of different testing methods and concepts such as TDD and BDD, and then, testing in Rails and Ruby. Testing technologies like Test::Unit, MiniTest, RSpec, Capybara, FactoryGirl are also mentioned and used. In the end, it is presented a practical example of the application that contains tests. In the conclusionis is mentioned the importance of testing and how it is necessary for application development.
