|a U radu je prikazan proces liberalizacije tržišta poštanskih usluga u RH s osvrtom na proces u drugim članicama EU odnosno na način kako su se javni operatori morali prilagoditi novonastalim uvjetima na tržištu u pogledu pružanja poštanskih usluga.
Liberalizacija podrazumijeva potpuno otvoreno i jedinstveno tržište poštanskih usluga na cijelom području EU. Proces liberalizacije se odvijao implementacijom poštanskih direktiva u zakonodavne okvire pojedinih članica EU.
Tržište poštanskih usluga u RH je u potpunosti liberalizirano s 1. siječnja 2013. stupanjem na snagu ZPU-a. Proces liberalizacije tržišta poštanskih usluga u RH odvijao se kroz duži period postepenom implementacijom poštanskih direktiva u zakonodavstvo RH, a što je prikazano u radu.
Značajnu ulogu na tržištu poštanskih usluga imaju i neovisni regulatori, a u RH tu ulogu ima HAKOM.
Na kraju rada je dan prikaz stanja na tržištu EU s usporedbom dobivenih podataka s podacima u RH.

|a This paper work describes the process of liberalization of the postal services market in the Republic of Croatia with regard to the process in other member states and the way the public operators have to adjust to new conditions in the market in terms of providing postal services.
Liberalization means a fully open and the single market of postal services throughout the EU. The liberalization process was carried out implementation of the postal directive in the legislative framework of individual EU member states.
The postal services market in the Republic of Croatia is fully liberalized on 1 January 2013 the entry into force of the Law on Postal Services. The process of liberalization of the postal services market in the Republic of Croatia took place over a long period of gradual implementation of the postal directive in the Croatian legislation, which is shown in the work.
Important roles in the postal service have independent regulators, and in Croatia that role have HAKOM.
At the end of the work is given the view of the situation on the EU market by comparing the obtained data with the data in the Republic of Croatia
