|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Pametan grad (engl. Smart City) je težnja k razvoju cjelovitih i održivih gradova, u kojima će kvaliteta ljudskog života, ali i odnosa prema prirodnoj okolini biti na znatno većoj razini.
Pametan grad definira se i kao grad koji zadovoljava sve potrebe svojih građana u cijelosti i učinkovito, u skladu sa ili iznad standarda i ciljeva koje postavljaju lokalni, nacionalni i međunarodni standardi održivosti. U radu je razrađen pojam „pametni grad“ i definirati odgovarajuća platforma: od ideje do proizvoda. Razrađen je pojam „pametna elektroenergetska mreža/ smart grid“ i njezina infrastrukturna uloga u sustavu pametnog grada. Ukazat će se na međunarodne standarde pri razvoju pametnih gradova kao i na pravce njihove budućnosti. U završnom dijelu predočene su mogućnosti financiranja pametnih rješenja u gradovima.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: Smart city has a tendency to develop comprehensive and sustainable cities, where the quality of human life, but also the relationship to the natural environment to be significantly higher level. A smart city is defined as a city that meets all the needs of its citizens fully and effectively, in accordance with or above the standards and objectives set by local, national and international standards of sustainability. The paper will be razdraditi term "smart city" and define the appropriate platform: from idea to product. Elaborate will be the concept of "smart power grid / smart grid" infrastructure and its role in the system of smart city. Their attention will be on international standards covering the development of smart cities as well as the directions of their future. The final section will present financing opportunities smart solutions in the cities
