|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije nalaze svoju primjenu u svim segmentima suvremenog druÅ¡tva pa tako i u podruÄju obrazovanja. Posebno su korisne u radu s djecom s teÅ¡koÄama u razvoju. U porastu je broj djece s teÅ¡koÄama u savladavanju vjeÅ¡tine Äitanja. DanaÅ¡nja djeca vrlo rano nauÄe koristiti raÄunala, mobitele ili tablete, a istraživanja pokazuju da su uÄenici s teÅ¡koÄama u Äitanju zadovoljniji i uÄinkovitiji kada koriste nove tehnologije.
U praktiÄnom dijelu rada razvijeno je programsko pomagalo za uÄenike s teÅ¡koÄama u usvajanju vjeÅ¡tine Äitanja naziva Äitalica. Implementacija je provedena u razvojnom okruženju Unity za Android platformu. Kroz razvoj aplikacije su se slijedile sve predložene smjernice funkcijskog i grafiÄkog dizajna prilagoÄenog djeci s teÅ¡koÄama u Äitanju. U definiranju zahtjeva sudjelovali su struÄnjaci iz podruÄja logopedije i psihologije te struÄnjaci s iskustvom u izradi sliÄnih aplikacija. Kako bi se provjerila funkcionalnost razvijene aplikacije i zadovoljstvo korisnika, provedena je evaluacija na odabranom skupu korisnika u Poliklinci Suvag u logopedskom kabinetu u NaÅ¡icama.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: Information and communication technology often finds its uses in wide variety of applications of which one is education. It is especially useful for working with children with learning difficulties whose number is constantly increasing. Problems which are especially common with children are reading problems. Today's children learn how to use computers, smartphones and other similar devices at a very early age. Studies show that children with reading problems are much more efficient and satisfied when using the latest technologies in effort to improve their reading skills.
In the practical part of the thesis software tool based on alternative and augmentative communication for reading skills improvement named âÄitalicaâ was developed. The implementation was conducted in Unity game engine and is intended for use primarily on Android platforms. Implementation process followed all the prescribed guidelines for functional and graphic design adapted to children with reading difficulties and its steps were closely supervised by the team of qualified experts (speech therapists, psychologist, project leaders). In an effort to ensure acceptable quality of the product, evaluation of the application was conducted with selected set of users by speech therapist in Polyclinic Suvag in NaÅ¡ice.
