|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Elektroenergetske mreže su dio elektroenergetskog sustava čija je primarna funkcija omogućavanje prijenosa i distribucije električne energije od mjesta proizvodnje do potrošača. U diplomskom radu su opisani principi distantne i nadstrujne zaštite. Korištenje distantne zaštite se uglavnom povezuje sa štićenjem prijenosne mreže, dok nadstrujne za distribucijske mreže. Prvi zadatak rada je bio parametrirati relej 7SA611 serije SIPROTEC za korištenje njegove distantne zaštite pomoću DIGSI programske podrške, te parametrirati relej REF615 za korištenje njegove nadstrujne zaštite pomoću PCM600 programske podrške. Drugi zadatak zatim je bio sekundarno ispitati parametrirane uređaje korištenjem ispitnog uređaja OMICRON pomoću programske podrške Test Universe.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: Electric power networks are part of the power system whose main function is to enable transmission and distribution of electric energy from the point of production to the consumer. In this Master Thesis are described the principles of distance and overcurrent protection. The use of distance protection is mainly associated with the protection of the transmission network, while overcurrent for distribution networks. The first task of Master Thesis was to parameterize 7SA611 relay of a SIPROTEC group of relays to use its distance protection with DIGSI software, and parameterize REF615 relay to use its overcurrent protection with PCM600 software. The second assignment was then to secondary test parametric devices by using OMICRON test device with Test Universe software.
