|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Cilj ovog rada je usporediti praćenje lica u vidljivom i blisko infracrvenom spektru. Dan je kratak uvod u problematiku snimanja blisko infracrvenog spektra kao i u detekciju i praćenje lica. Odabrane su kamere te su pomoću njih snimane različite sekvence pokreta glave u vidljivom i blisko infracrvenom spektru. Snimke su obrađene pomoću FaceTracker software-a tvrtke Visage Technologies. Rezultati software-a su analizirani ručno te pomoću alata AnalysisTool koji je razvila ista tvrtka. Analiza rezultata je pokazala kako nema razlike u kvaliteti praćenja lica u blisko infracrvenom spektru u odnosu na vidljivi spektar.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: Goal of this thesis is to compare face tracking in visible and near infrared spectrum. In the beginning, brief introduction is given to the problem of near infrared spectrum recording as well as face detection and tracking. Cameras were selected and used to record different head movement sequences in both visible and near infrared spectrum. Recordings were processed with FaceTracker software developed by Visage Technologies. Software's results were analyzed by hand and with the help of AnalysisTool developed by the same company. Analysis of the results showed that there is no difference in quality of face tracking in near infrared spectrum compared to visible spectrum.
