|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Internet stvari nije nova pojava u ICT svijetu, ali u je u zadnje vrijeme sve popularnija te broj povezanih uređaja raste iz godine u godinu, ubrzano. Uređaji koji sudjeluju u ekosustavu Interneta stvari imaju svoje posebne osobine poput heterogenosti, specifičnosti i ograničenosti resursima. Iste osobnosti dovode do raznih sigurnosnih i problema privatnosti. Potrebno je adresirati te izazove sa raznih stajališta iz ukupnog ekosustava Interneta stvari. Današnje tehnologije koje se koriste te su dobro prihvaćene i standardizirane mogu pomoći u rješavanju ovih problema. Kada govorimo o Internetu stvari većina misli o raznim, malim povezanim uređajima i senzorima koji međusobno komuniciraju. Takve uređaje i kompleksnije nazivamo krajnjim uređajima. Oni su prva točka upada i obrane od potencijalnih napada zbog njihove restrikcije s resursima i računalne snage. Drugi sustavi koji su priključeni u ukupnu priču Interneta stvari uključuju pružatelje usluga te Internet operatore. Za sve tri cjeline je potrebno proći kroz njihov sigurnosni model kako bi dobili bolji uvid u propuste i potrebna razmatranja pri izradi i integraciji istih sustava. Studijski slučaj ovog rada uključuje pregled široko korištenog firmvera Sonoff-Tasmota te uvid u njegovu sigurnost i privatnost.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: Internet of Things is not a new phenomenon in the ICT world, but lately it has become increasingly popular and the number of connected devices hsa increased year after year in accelerated pace. Devices involved in the ecosystem of the Internet of Things have their own special features like heterogeneity, specificity, and resource constraints. The same features lead to a variety of security and privacy issues. Addressing these challenges from various perspectives from the overall ecosystem of the Internet of Things needs to be addressed. Today's technologies that are used and are well accepted and standardized can help solve these problems. When talking about the Internet of things most people think about various, small connected devices and sensors that communicate with each other. Such devices and more complex ones are referred to as endpoint devices. They are the first point of intrusion and defense against potential attacks because of their resource restrictions and computing power restrictions. Other systems that are connected to the overall story of Internet of things include service providers and Internet operators. For all three layers, it is necessary to go through their security model to gain a better insight into their oversights and the considerations needed when developing and integrating the same systems. The study case of this paper includes an overview of the widely used firmware Sonoff-Tasmota and insight into its security and privacy.
