Unlike the authors of secular Petrarchistic poetry, in whose songs the aesthetic achieves emancipation at the thematic level, Marulić manipulates the concept of woman's beauty and compels the elements of Petrarchistic discourse to serve his particular religious and didactic scopes. | ||
