|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Globalnost poduzeća često utječe na decentralizaciju procedura unutar odjela informacijskih tehnologija što također negativno pridonosi trošku održavanja i osvježavanja IT infrastrukture. s ciljem rješavanja tih problema ovaj rad predlaže projekt koji, u četiri faze, izvršava proces konsolidiranja aktivnih računalnih sustava iz lokalnih podatkovnih centara podružnica u globalni podatkovni centar poduzeća. Četiri faze projekta osigurati će detaljno mapirane aktivne sustave, pripremiti će osnovicu infrastrukture i dizajn za uspješnu migraciju sustava pritom pridržavajući se svih tehnički, poslovnih ili usklađenih potreba koje procesi zahtijevaju. U ovisnosti o kritičnosti i veličini podružnica koristi se pristup organizaciji infrastrukture koji uz utrošak fleksibilnosti po utjecaju korisnika omogućuje soluciju infrastrukture koja je samoodrživa. Projekt također predlaže proces odluke u pogledu kategorizacije podružnica čija infrastruktura zahtjeva reorganizaciju, te u konačnici primjenom analitičkih metoda omogućuje jasan prikaz rezultata tj. uspješnosti projekta.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: The globality of companies often influence the decentralization of procedures within the IT department which negatively impacts the cost of maintenance and refresh requirements of the IT infrastructure. With the goal of resolving the before mentioned issues, this thesis presents a project which, in four phases, executes the process of consolidating the active information systems from data centers within local oriented site to a global data center. Four phases of the project will enable detailed mapping of active systems, it will prepare the infrastructure baseline and recommend a design that will successfully encompass the migration process all the while fulfilling the technical, business and compliance requirements which the system processes demand. With regards to criticality and size of the remote sites the convergent approach of infrastructure organization, while losing user experience manageability and flexibility, gives the IT department a infrastructure solution which is self sustainable. The project also recommends a decision making process with regards to the categorization of necessary reorganization of remote sites, while enabling system measurements and analythical methods to clearly present the project result.
