|a Sažetak na hrvatskom: Voda ima značajnu ulogu u razvoju biljaka i za procese u tlu. Prevelika ili premala količina vode nepovoljno utječe na normalan rast i razvoj biljaka. U svrhu kvalitetnog upravljanja vodnim resursima i optimiranja sustava navodnjavanja, potrebno je motriti vodni status biljke. Pored komercijalnih senzorskih sustava za mjerenje transpiracije, postoje metode mjerenja protoka ksilemskog soka drvenaste biljke zasnovane na prijenosu topline. U tu svrhu iskorišten je termistor, komponenta koja zbog svojih termoelektričnih svojstava objedinjuje uloge grijača i temperaturnog senzora. Mjerenje protoka se provodi zagrijavanjem termistora i praćenjem tijeka odvođenja topline. Cilj rada je realizacija senzorskog sustava i na osnovu eksperimentalnog mjerenja procijeniti mogućnosti i ograničenja metode mjerenja protoka ksilemskog soka.

|a Sažetak na engleskom: Water plays a significant role in plant development and soil processes. Too much or too little water affects the normal growth and development of plants. For the purpose of good water resource management and irrigation system optimization, it is necessary to observe the water status of the plant. In addition to commercial sensor systems for measuring transpiration, there are methods of measuring sap flow of woody plants, based on the heat transfer.For this purpose, a thermistor was choosen, a component its thermoelectric properties, combines the role of a heater and a temperature sensor. For this purpose, a thermistor component has been selected which combines the role of the heater and the temperature sensor due to its thermoelectric properties.Sap flow measurement is conducted by heating the thermistor and monitoring the temperature change process of thermistor.The aim of thesis is the implementation of sensor system and on the basis of experimental measurements to assess the possibilities and limitations of the sap flow method.
