|a Sažetak: Istraživana je koncentracija bakra, cinka i željaza u serumu na 150 krmača u dobi od 1 do 7 godina metodom plamene atomske apsorpcijske spektrofotometrije. Prilikom pokusa svinje su podijeljene u tri jednake skupine: početak gravidnosti, visoka gravidnost te laktacija. S obzirom na dob plotkinje su bile podijeljene u četri skupine. Prvu skupinu činile su nazimice ne starije od 16 mjeseci. Drugu skupinu činile su krmače u drugoj i trećoj gravidnosti, no ne starije od 24 mjeseca. Treću skupinu činile su krmače od četvrte do sedme gravidnosti, no ne starije od 48 mjeseci, dok su četvrtu skupinu činile krmače starije od 48 mjeseci.

|a Na temelju dobivenih rezultata usporednih istraživanja metaboličkog statusa kroz hematološke i biokemijske parametre nasuprot istovremene opskrbe bakrom, cinkom i željezom, jasno pokazuju samostalnost u prometu bakra, cinka i željeza. Intenzitet metabolizma bakra, cinka i željeza tijekom gravidnosti i laktacije značajno se mijenja. Bakar pokazuje izraziti pad iz prve u drugu fazu gravidnosti, a zatim porast prama trećoj fazi gravidnosti. Vrijednosti za cink porasle su iz prve u drugu fazu gravidnosti, a zatim su zadržale ustaljene vrijednosti. Kod željeza postoji izraziti trend porasta s obzirom na fazu gravidnosti. Ustanovili smo da postoji zajedničko obilježje trenda porasta razine minerala u funkciji dobi. Naši rezultati u skladu su sa rezultatima istraživanja većine autora navedenih u literaturi, a odstupanja su objašnjiva.

|a Research was done on the concentration of copper, zinc and iron in the serum of 150 sows aged between 1 and 7 years using the method of flaming atomic absorption spectrophotometry. In the course of the experiment the sows were divided into three equal groups: those at the beginning of pregnancy, high pregnancy and in the lactation period. Taking into consideration their age the breeding sows were divided into four groups. The first group was made up of gilts not older than 16 months. The second group consisted of sows in their second or third pregnancy, but not older than 24 months. The third group consisted of sows between their fourth and seventh pregnancy, but not over 48 months old, while the fourth group contained sows older than 48 months.

|a On the basis of results attained parallel research of the metabolic status through hematologic and biochemical parameters against simultaneous supply with copper, zinc and iron, clearly demonstrate independence in the circulation of copper, zinc and iron. In the course of pregnancy and lactation period the intensity of copper, zinc and iron metabolism changes significantly. Copper shows a distinct decrease from the first into the second phase of pregnancy, and then an increase as it progresses towards the third phase of pregnancy. The values of zinc were increased from the first phase of pregnancy into the second and after that stable values were retained. In the case of iron there is a marked tendency of growth depending on the pregnancy phase.

|a It was established that there is a common feature of growth tendency in the level of minerals depending on the age. Dur results correspond to research results of most authors given in our bibliography with certain departures that are explainable.
