|a Sažetak: Posebnim računskim postupkom iz običnog elektronistagmograma moguće je mjeriti i brojem izraziti prag javljanja brzog sastojka nistagmusa (R). Budući da brzi satsojak nastaje u prepontinoj retikularnoj formaciji, pod utjecajem vestibularnih jezgara i mnogih drugih okolnih sustava, pragom brzog satojka (R) moguće je dobiti podatke iz tog područja. U ovom istraživanju, na nekoliko skupina iispitanika sa šećernom bolesti, cilj je bio doznati je li pod djelovanjem nekih lijekova, - a ovdje je odabran dihidroergotoksin (Redergin Lek Ljubljana), - dolazi do promjene patološkog praga brzog sastojka. Prag je bio spušten prosječno za 43% kod svih ispitanika. Njih je bilo 130, a kontrolna je skupina obuhvatila 105 zdravih ispitanika iste životne dobi između 32 i 76 godina.

Neposredno djelovanje jedne doze dihidroergotoksina očitavalo se približavanjem patološkog praga urednim vrijednostima. R je na početku bio udaljen -46,10%, a nakon 90 minuta približio se na samo -18,43%, što se u Friedmanovom testu pokazalo statistički značajnom razlikom (p[0,000001). 3. Dugotrajno uzimanje dihidroergotoksina (40 dana)očitovalo se promjenom udaljenosti koja je u početku iznosila -44% na sam prag uredne vrijednosti (udaljenost 0%), što se u Friedmanovom testu pokazalo kao statistički značajna razlika(p[0,000001).

|a Summary: An original procedure is used to compute the threshold of the nystagmus quick component (R). An ordinary electronystagmogram is used as a base for the procedure. The quick componente is being developing within the prepontic reticular formation under the influence of vestibular nuclei and a number of surrounding system. Usig the quick component threshuld, one may obtain particular data related to the area. This study deals with the groups of diabetic patients (total 130) who werw treated Dihidroergotoxin (redergin, Lek), chosen for this purpose. The aim of the study was to find out if the drug produced any changes in patologic threshold of quick component (R). On the average, the treshold was rwduced by 43% in all patients. Control group of examinees was made up of 105 normal subjects, ranging in age from 32 to 76 years.
